Great news for us tiger fans! Beasley on one end and Shaq Lawson on the other! Gonna be a tough D-line
96 sundance 1900, 135 Johnson
Curious as to where the experts said he would land in the draft and why he made this decision… I thought he was supposed to be a late first round/early second round guy He had a great year in 2013. It’s going to be hard to top it in 2014, but great news for the Tigers.

I heard Kentucky had some guys coming back as well. Probably not going to be able to sleep tonight… #rollseyes

Glad he didn’t suit up when Clemson played Carolina.

? He had 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble and out shined Clowey.
Guess he should return punts in 2014.
“Beasley, projected to be a second-round pick by the draft’s advisory board, was one of the last big names in the ACC to make his decision. He is rated No. 3 at his position and No. 36 overall by ESPN.com’s Scouts Inc.”
Second round and #3 in his position, I think I would leave. I have always said, take the money and run. But good for him

see that’s a good jab. Your first one was not well researched.
Fish, with Clowney out of the way I think he can go higher next year especially if he puts on another 15 or 20lbs. Dude is only 235lbs.
quote:Or he can get double and triple teamed all year and have horrible #s and fall way down the draft. He is not the NFL prototype DE. Green Bay could use him like they do Clay Matthews in the 3-4 defense. Most NFL DE's are 6'5+ 260+. IMO he should have get while the gettin was good. Hopefully it works out in his favor. I love to see in state players make it to the NFL.

Key West 1720 115 HP Johnson Saltwater.
He was on fire earlier in the year, but slowed down when the double teams came. He will probably have another good year due to the fact that most teams they face will be playing from behind and be in passing situations much of the game. Not sure I would have stayed, but it is always good to see them stay in school and I hope it works out well for him.
Take the $$$$$ and run. If you get hurt you have plenty of $$$$$ to go back and finish your education. Why risk another year of playing for free? That is my theory.

I agree. There’s no reason to risk a career ending injury if you can get a contract. Just doesn’t make good sense at all.

Beasley and Boyd will fit in well in Toronto.

Another year in the weight room, and to work on technique will put Vic into the top 20 next year. NFL scouts will be drooling to have him as a LB for their team.
