Video game numbers

“Video game numbers”, when describing great performances by layers, must be the new sports cliche. Don’t know who came up with this, but it is in just about every sports article and talking head show in the country.

It seems like catch phrases like “in space, pick 6, heady player, and running down hill” are used every thirty seconds on Saturdays. Oh yeah, and “big tight end”. Is that a different position than regular tight end?

Kinda like “that fish has shoulders…”

How about “he can spin the magic bean.” That one drives me nuts. Or especially any thing Jesse Palmer says, I just want to slap the hell out of him…
