Has anyone tried these yet? I have more soft plastics than I probably need, but these look like they may work well when the water clears up this time of year. Just wanted to know if anyone has been having any success and with what color. At almost $8.00 for a pack of 2 they are pretty expensive as far as plastics go. When you take people with you I don’t think they realize how quickly tackle can add up.
This is a great bait. Many of the colors work, but natural and brown work for me. The hook is light, so use a light drag if a big redfish hits. The inventors recommend using under a Cajun cork. Good luck. I’ve seen it out fish the DOA and seen the DOA out fish it…so worth putting it in your “arsenal.”
This bait is not only very effective but I have never seen one that last as long as this one! A few of my drops are typically populated with pin fish that I fondly call BS (bait stealers). This bait not only survives one attack but I have one now that has lasted three entire trips. I have never seen an artificial endure this kind of abuse. Occasionally retie your line, add a little scent and keep on fishing! And, oh yes I have caught trout, flounder and reds on this bait. They are pricey but well worth it.
Thanks for the replies. Looks like I’ll have to pick up a few. Hopefully we will get some nice weekend weather soon to try them out.
