Fabio Jr. actually had a higher QBR than Bentley (93.1 to 73.0), higher completion percentage (72.9% to 64%) and a higher yards per pass average (10.9 yards to 10.2 yards). I do agree that Bentley owned Clemson’s defense though. Then again, everybody owns USC’s defense.
C’mon Bang,
Teresa had enough time in the pocket on several occasions where she was re-applying lipstick and touching up her mascara… One time I believe I saw a little compact come out of her britches and she was powdering her nose… Prolly getting ready and looking forward to her romp with Wilkins & Co. in the nap room…
No comparison between the 2 performances… Mister Bentley OWNED the #2 defense in the country with a 4th string running back as the balancing running threat which was non-existent due to injuries…
Funny how all the fussing is being done by taters. Not one person expected Carolina to win but, not one tater thought their #1 or 2 defense would be embarassed by the Cocks either. Carolina has no running game so EVERYONE knew they would have to pass and the Taters still could not stop them. I find that hilarious. I’ll bet Ol Daybo had some words for Venables. I know he was upset with the Tiger faithful.
No “moral” victory for me, I ain’t happy with any kind of loss but, seeing upset Taters even when they win is hysterical.

Post up the rushing stats, those tell the tale. TL didn’t need to throw for 500yds when the Tigers ran for almost 400. But, do you not think that had Clemson decided to throw for 600, they couldn’t have done that?
Spin it how you want, Tigers won by 3 TD’s. The gap isn’t closing, 6 is coming in a year and Clemson is in the hunt for a NC, again.
Let this sink in, Elliot was a temp coach and only lost to Clemson by 5, Mousedump’s averaging 31.3 points per loss.
SCar would have taken it if the defense was healthy. I believe that is why Clem’s fan base was so upset that even Dabo had to check them, and put them in their redneck timeout… Because the gap is closing quickly… Even with a depleted D, SCar stayed in the game and had chances to win it in Dabo valley…
Between Dabo and Muschamp, only one of those coaches has lost 5 in a row, and that’s Dabo. When SCar 5peated it was with Clem having much better teams…
What happened to that big bad defensive line with the 2nd ranked D? They could only combine 3 sacks and Clowney had 4.5 alone… Guess the Dabo valley sack record stands with Clowney still owning it…

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My favorite was when the SEC Official called “delay of game” on Clemson’s defense.?! Desperation at it’s finest…

Other than hoping Clemson had scored a few more TD’s, I’m tickled to death with the outcome! Seems you Coot fans are the one’s with their panties all disheveled? A missed call is a bit different than a, blatant, illegal call, impact or not.

In all my years playing/watching football, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a DOG penalty on a defense while lined up in formation.
In less than 5 hours. Been a fun day. now please move on
Don’t really know and I don’t know that it matters. If you’re a starting QB at a “power 5” school and have the offensive weapons around you that Lawrence does, the fact that you’re Freshman means squat when you’re playing against a defense like USC’s. I’m not trying to take anything away from what Lawrence did. Kid put up just under 400 yards passing while having have a QBR over 90 and that’s phenomenal but it’s not like he did it against a top-ranked defense. Bentley isn’t a Freshman but he put up over 500 yards against a top 5 defense. Big difference. That said, Clemson’s offensive future looks incredibly bright and the scary thing for USC fans should be the fact that Lawrence is only going to get better. Other than the fact the kid looks like Fabio, kid is an outright baller.

RBF, I hear ya but like I said earlier, numbers don’t lie. I agree that USC’s offense dominated Clemson’s defense, again, the numbers bear that out but you can’t pick and choose the numbers that support your claim but then ignore the ones that don’t. Both QB’s had great games. Both Offenses had great games. Both Defenses had horrible games. You’re right, “facts are facts” and these are the facts.
MN, if you consider Clemson’s top 5 ranked Defense in the country surrendering 35 points…the highest point total scored at DV under Dabo’s watch… “stopping them,” you are delusional AND in denial. You got that “W” but Clemson’s Defense didn’t “stop” anyone. Also, if you expect anyone to believe Dab
How about TLaw16 steadily breaking and accumulating all sorts of records against USCjr, you know, the freshman rookie guy that led his team to over 700 yards of offense, yea that’s him! Talk about a well balanced performance…well done Tigers!
Most every team’s opposing QB has had a career game against USC’s defense this year. LOL!!! I would hope a QB in charge of an offense like Clemson’s could too.

Bentley ran up passing yards even with Clem knowing what he was going to do because SCar had their 4th</font id=“red”> string running back as a starter due to injuries…
Clem’s defense got owned by Bentley and there is NO comparison between Clem’s prettiest girl on campus at QB, and JB’s performance:

The biggest reason why Bentley was able to torch the Tigers secondary, is that BV was waiting to see what formation USC was setting up in at the line. Then BV would signal out the play call, by then the ball was already hiked and our players were still looking at t

TL is a better QB prospect than anyone else in the country, and will go #1 overall after his Junior season. He’s accurate, get’s the ball out in under a second, and his ball velocity has been steadily clocked at 61mph. that is faster than any QB at the combine over the past 10 years.

Yeah it sucks South Carolina still doesn’t quite have all the pieces to compete like they did a few years back but I am happy with Muschamp so far. What Bentley did to clemson’s highly touted D was very surprising and I can definitely see why it is so disconcerting for clemson fans. Everyone in the building knew that was the only way SC had a chance to move the ball and they couldn’t stop it. After watching that game it made me wonder what the heck clemson would do with the giant elephant waiting in the corner of the room should the season progressess to that. At this point in time I would guess the spread on that game would be around 21.
And while it’s going to be a fun game day that I am looking forward to when Bama shows up in cola next year it is unfortunately going to be a bloodbath.
