SO I understand Walmart is gong to build a store just east of the Airport on Ladys Island…That’s gonna suck.
Also heard the the Airport runway was going to be extended to the south and Sea Island Pkwy would be moved south as well to accommodate the extension.
Like the traffic isn’t bad enough. They need to be leaving that marshland alone as well IMO.

You mean they found a place on Lady’s Island that doesn’t have a significant Live Oak Tree on it?

Please don’t go in the store once it opens. If you do, They’ve won. Spread the word on this. I honestly don’t see haw they can make a profit at the location if folks continue to shop where they’ve been getting stuff up til now. They have a huge overhead. We don’t need it. Stores like Grayco will suffer the most.
Oh and the live oaks lost this battle. The land has already been cleared.

Can someone tell me where the exact location is of this new Walmart? I have heard three versions now and don’t see any clearing around either side of Frogmore International.
