Want to hire a guide this spring...

I want to hire a guide this spring to catch some redfish & trout and also learn some tips on where to find fish/how to catch them when I find them. I go out fishing on my own maybe once a month, at best, and catch primarily shark and stingrays. Not out to poach a guide’s spot, nor would I even have time to given my full time work schedule and having two little boys under 5 years old that need to spend time with their dad when I’m not at work.

Long story short… is it worth it to hire a guide when I pretty much know I’m not going to get put on the best or even good spots?

I recommend Capt. Rick Percy. He has a new book out…and is a teaching guide with a great personality. Rick goes where the fish are. If he and other guides didn’t…they would not be in business long…so don’t worry about being put on bad or unproductive spots. Check out his website…
