water spout

Fished for about a hour on Wed evening hooked one nice fish and broke him off in the grass. little blue fish are killing the gulp.
Thrusday morning did any one else see the water spout. My seven year old daughter was amazed. First one I have seen on land. It was at the worst spot every to (campground) I think it barly missed it. Here are some pics for those who did get to see.

I have seen them at Edisto while on the water. Pretty crazy stuff! That looks to be a pretty nasty one right there!

Wow…cool…thanks for posting

Don’t know why redboat’s image was deleted, so here’s another. Pic taken from Marsh Point condo, about 3-4 miles away.

Incredible pics, guys. How dangerous are those things?

Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…

wonder how many pogies that thing ate?

I HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY LIFE FISHING AND WASTED THE REST OF IT!

Edisto 9871: Can be as dangerous as a hurricane, that’s the worst one I’ve seen, been on the water with 2 or 3, VERY devastating, can pick up everything around, including boats.
