He took reps in a green jersey yesterday and today they are pulling that jersey off and going at full speed.
So, today’s practice should be a good indicator of whether he plays against the cocks on Saturday.
Hope they don’t play him if there is a risk for further injury…but hey Connor Shaw was in this exact same situation, same injury with the same timeframe, and it turned out ok…

Shaw was worse. Clowney was playing with a hernia and a bone spur. It’s more a fear thing coming from the Sakkerliner mouthbreathers on Watson playing, they know the chances of 6 go waaaaaaaaaaaaaayy down.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Hey look the 5 year old chimed in. Don’t worry, spelling is tough for all of us.
Shevy, I think the difference is that Shaw did not have a knee injury. LCL is the one that allows for side to side movement. That is a big deal on a runner that cuts alot. I have said before, I hope he plays if he is healthy. The chances of USC winning are greatly diminished if he plays.
Despite spraining both his MCL and LCL </font id=“size6”> last week in Knoxville, South Carolina coaches have hinted that Connor Shaw might be available on Saturday. The Gamecocks head to Columbia, MO – the last leg of a three-game SEC road trip – pretty banged up on both sides of the ball.
The Browns are getting a quarterback who never lost a home game in the SEC. A perfect 17-0 record. The Browns are getting a quarterback who threw 24 touchdowns and just one interception in 2013. One.
Those numbers are merely sketches of the football player Shaw is compared to his heroic game against Missouri last season, now famously dubbed ShawShank Redemption to the millions of SEC fans.
The week prior, Shaw sprained his LCL in brutal loss at Tennessee.</font id=“size6”> He was supposed to be ruled out for the Missouri game, and more likely three weeks. To make matters worse, Shaw came down with a nasty case of the flu. If he left his bed, buckets full of vomit would spew from Shaw?s stomach. He lost 11 pounds. He didn?t even attend one team meeting that week.
StinkB8, will you go fishing with me? Or maybe hunting?

It is good news that he is progressing.
Watson’s injury was not as bad as Shaw’s because he only strained his LCL. Shaw had strained his both his MCL and LCL.
Probably not smart to have either player on the field two weeks later but hey I’m not a doctor.
Connor Shaw is the best QB you have ever had at Sakerlina, bar none.
Quality person off the field as well.
You could put all of Stoudt’s and Watson’s current injuries on Shaw at the same time the morning of a game against Clemson, and he would still go out and outfight everyone else on the field. He would literally DESERVE it. He single-handedly dismantled our defense in that first game he played in Clemson. I am sure glad our defense and your QB aren’t like that this year…
I was thinking the Clemson game. And the same thing for him. But by time he played he was well enough. As is evident by his play
When you stepped back, how bad did the pile you put your foot in smell.

Why is it that Clemson fans can not spell the state they live in. Here I will help y’all, SOUTH CAROLINA. Now lets see if you can spell it on your own.

If you noticed the timeline, it was before Phin complete his update.
I thought shevy meant Shaw playing hurt against Clemson. The kid played hurt a lot.
Does it bother you when you hear on of those redneck Sakkerliner fans pronounce it Sakkerliner. You know they do, surely you got to Walmart every once in a while and hear it, Sak-Ker-Liner. I thankfully live in the state of South Carolina, and attended Clemson University also in the state of South Carolina. But your school is Sakkerliner and you know it.
Now, tell us about Shaw’s non injury, LCL/MCL injury that didn’t exist while playing for the Sakkerliner Chickens? I think Spurrier ruined his NFL career by playing him the week after suffering it. I bet Clowney’s career is suffering from the abuse he received playing hurt at Sakkerliner.

Yep, I can see how you made that assumption I should have been more clear that I meant the Mizzou game.

Agree Clemson’s defense is better, but Shaw never took a snap at Clemson. The QB that threw for 310 yards and 3 TDs was Dylan Thompson. The same guy starting Saturday.

Ah. I am thinking about 2011 at Williams Brice. Seemed like he would convert every 3rd and long with a rush that game.
