Did y’all get any rain down there?
Really? about ten inches or so up till now as far as I can tell, High tide was pretty amazing.
We’ve been here since Saturday afternoon, had some good breaks in the rain during the day Sunday. The high tides were coming past the houses on the beachfront, especially through the beach access points. Sad to see some turtle eggs among the debris. Only managed to pull out 1 whiting so far, but the area is starting to recover and tides aren’t quite as high now. Today the sun is finally starting to show itself. Still having fun with the family! #9728;#65039;
Crazy rain, huge tides. water looks like garbage. I worry that it will be a long time before it normalizes as all that water from the upstate will be coming this way for a while. Going to try later this week but am not optimistic.

We had a really fun day on the south end of Edisto today. My son and his friend used the cast net for mullet and we used the to hook into at least 6 or 7 Atlantic Sharpnose. Kids had a blast. Haven’t really tried for much else as we came for the shark fishing. Looking forward to another great day tomorrow, weather is delivering beautifully after all the rain at the start of the week. All of Palmetto Drive is open now.
