4oz pyramid on a sinker slide holds almost all the time, if it’s real windy I’ll use a small Sputnik weight.
Carolina rigs 3 to 4 oz.egg sinker.4# circles hook. 50~60 lbs fishing line for leaders cause if hook a big shark it will cut your leader.You lose your hook not your weight.Pretty simple setups.
What bait is best to use? I’ve been successful catching reds using blue crab and shrimp along the inshore. Do you use anything different?
