Well that just sucked...

26-22

Had Mitch been pulled earlier, I could have seen a different outcome. Glad he got hurt

You’re glad one of your players got hurt?

Might as well get use to losing. LSU, Georgia, T A&M, UT, Clemson and anyone with an offense with a decent run game is going to beat them. Lack of talent on defense. Moore can’t do it all.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

What happens if Orth goes down? That was only game #2.

Don’t ever be glad someone got hurt.

OBS said that was an ill advised play…I thought he called the plays?

Too bad about Connor Mitch. I think he was diving for that ill-advised option play and separated his shoulder…so it looks like he’s out.

I’m glad Orth got a chance to play, not that Mitch got hurt. But Orth looked very comfortable in there. He made one bad decision it just happened at a really bad time.
Defense is gonna get killed against UGA. I thought pass defense was OK. But run D is BAD.

This is just another reason I had starting the season with quality D1 teams.

I taught you better that that son.

Let me clarify this, as an individual: Am I glad Mitch got injured, nope and I hope that he recovers as soon as possible. But none of you SC fans can tell me that somewhere in the back of your minds you hoped or wondered that if he wasn’t pulled whether or not he might get injured. It made Spurrier put in someone who looked much more ready to play and had he done that sooner, different game all together. He didn’t lose the game by himself by any means, but had someone else been put in sooner, again, different game all together.

When a team is struggling everyone’s favorite player is the back up quarterback. With that said I do not think Mitch has looked very good so far this year. Orth did look much calmer and quick with his reads. But time will tell how well he handles the pressure of being a starter. It is a totally different gig than coming in during a game in relief. Right now it looks like Mitch is gone for the year. I think the defense is learning to play together right now, we will see how it goes. I was more concerned with the inability to score in the red zone by the offense. I would be curious to get the perspective from someone at the game.

There is the kid I raised.

I too feel like Orth looked much more poised and confident. However, his play alone is not going to save this team. A horrible red zone offense, a defense that can only seem to play in the second half and (I feel) questionable play calling are going to make this a long and frustrating season unless these things are fixed.

SMH… I’m sure you didn’t mean it the way it came out, at least I hope that is the case!! Wishing Connor Mitch a speedy recovery!! I hate to see any player from any team get hurt.

Looks like he is out for the year, hopefully he’ll be back next season. I’m excited about the young qb potential though. Orth will do a decent enough job if we don’t ask him to win the whole game for us by himself. Run game needs to be a major part of our game plan.

at least the stadium and parking upgrades don’t suck…

Just accept the fact that the coots suck, per usual, and Spurrier doesn’t care anymore. He’s not bringing an SEC championship much less a national championship to USCjr. If this keeps up he’ll probably pack it in after this year leaving your team with mediocre players, no coach, and nothing to recruit around. Back to normal huh?

We will always have the 5 in a row in the modern football era against a far superior Clemson team.

I’ll admit that this was quite the feat but it doesn’t give you an Orange Bowl championship or ACC championship. That stomping by Cam Newton is the closes yall have come to accomplishing something and that had more to do with the East being garbage since Florida lost Meyer. But by all means put the series record up in the stadium so you have more than your single conference championship to display in the roach.

People forget that SC won an ACC championship, 7 and 4 that year was all it took to do it.
