Went to St. Helena Sound for a for a couple hours shrimping yesterday afternoon. Started throwing about 3:30 - pulled the poles when we saw the storm brewing at about 6:30 with a limit. Half way back to Sam’s Point got nailed by a violent thunderstorm - cold wind driving heavy rain sideways. Note to Capt. Curt - would still be there if no GPS.
DNR pulled in to the landing as we pulled the boat out. I asked him if he was going to check us because we were wet to the bone. He took a look and said he would pass - to go home and get dry.
Good on a coolerful. Props to DNR some would have checked out if spite.
fish today work tomorrow
Thanks Glenn.

I held off Saturday when I heard the thunder. I went out Sunday afternoon only to get drenched by a driving rain.
“You don’t know - if you don’t go”. Wish I had a paying job as inaccurate as the weatherman.

Congrats on the cooler full. However, if I went out to the sound on Saturday I would probably still be there.
