What a Bummer

With the current weather forecast, it looks like a “Fish Kill” could be coming yet again.

That sucks, as the trout catches (from reading folk’s posts) seem to have really just made a strong comeback in the last couple years.

Wondering about the impact on the Reds and Shrimp?

It won’t be a positive impact for sure.

if this “global warming” thing keeps going on, we will be able to ice fish in a couple years!

Tried to get ahold of Al Gore, but no reply. I’m sure all those Solar Panels he had installed are keeping him warm:imp:.

Think it is just a brief internet problem that he will quickly resolve. After all, he invented it:stuck_out_tongue:.

Cold water will certainly affect the Trout. I saw lots of Trout last week in the marsh on high water, could not catch them though. I hope the water cools gradually so the Trout have time to move into the deep holes and mud up. I don’t think the cold water kills the Reds, but it causes them to school up more on the edges of the larger creeks and rivers thus the Dolphins have more access to them and really get after them.
