What a pleasure my charter today was. Bubba and Norm, from Michigan, fished real hard this AM, caught about 20-25 trout (Trout Tricks on 1/8th ounce jigheads), and kept five for supper. Great job, guys. Water is getting clearer, but the trout still haven’t really turned on. We were around fish all morning, probably had 100+ hits. I feel it’s gonna get better and better if the water will continue to clear. Bob

This is a Trout Trick (with a quote from Robert Ruark). When fished on a 1/8th ounce jighead in the “Creating a Reaction Bite” technique, it is deadly. I feel the ribs creating a vibration is the reason it is so productive, as there are a myriad of other lures this color and similar shape. I stumbled on this lure about 8 years ago when I was guiding on the Choctawhatchie Bay near Destin, Fl. These lures are not produced anymore, but I plan to start marketing them soon.
