What I Just Ate

Don’t forget to brown the pie curst alone in the oven for a few minutes before adding the tomatoes or the crust wont be right.

also if you cut 5 or 6 thin slices of tomatoes to go on top of the pie before adding the final cheese layer more of the cheese stays on top. It all gets mixed up anyway, but it just makes a better presentation.

I can’t wait for my tomatoes to start coming off,I pity the white bread and mayo

Tomato on toast with mayo is much better with a couple pieces of fish. Saved a couple of pieces for my breakfast yesterday.

Been eating mators from King’s Market for about 3 weeks, I gotta have bacon on a grainy bread lightly toasted with heavy mayo shredded iceberg lettuce with yellow American cheese, I call it a BLTC and always to big of a hurry to eat it and fail to get a picture. They have good corn too. Now I gotta have a bowl of store bought ice cream dangit!

I think fred must have been almost out of mayo by the looks of how much made it on his sammy.

I like a healthy slather  on both sides of my bread

we have 3 jars of dukes open right now, i think the kids keep grabbing a new one for their mayo and meat sandwiches :man_shrugging:

thanks for those tips, thought our maters were done but they are making one more run… if i can get a couple more lbs to ripen before the basil has all gone to seed, then I just need to go out and rope a pie crust and shoot me a block of cheddar.

if that’s a mini Fry-Daddy, I used to had one of them. loved it.

left the plastic lid on once and then plugged it in… melted lid and needed an oil change worse than one of Fred’s big rigs

Oh yeah, its a small fry daddy, we call it the fry baby.

Ms Fisher is hard on me when i start deep frying stuff on the range, so i have been relegated to the fry baby on the porch table.

Bawk bawk!

Now that’s a way to make a grilled cheese sandwich.
Just showed the wife. Will be trying that very soon
