Not much on oysters unless a lot of alcohol is involved. And I’ve never liked asparagus. Have not eaten it since I moved out of my parents house.
OTC, just try this along with some okra. Take both and coat generously in some olive oil (what ever oil) and then put on your favorite seasoning… maybe just some plain old french fry salt. Then put them on the grill until some nice black sear marks on them. Your adult taste buds might now like it. On a side note, asparagus will make your pizz smell super funky! LOL Really. I thought something was wrong with me like a urinary track infection. The wife just laughed at me.
I grill some asparagus for the wife occasionally. That’s one of them things I’ve just never acquired a taste for.

And the walking taco
And it’s dang cheap! That menu is overwhelming, so last time I panic ordered and got the walking taco as a side and rolled on. Had no idea what it was and they didn’t give me a utensil, so I ended up with a hand too messy to grab the wheel with. Had to stop and get a towel out.
Is that the award winning Fillin’ Station near off from Ravenel ?
Yes! I had a bacon cheeseburger last time and tried the cheesesteak this time, both excellent! The staff there are cheerful and accommodating. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Going back real soon!
Where’s this joint in ravenel at?
Went there with friends a couple of years ago. Was a real treat. They were packed but the service never faltered. I ate the hamburger with thick cut bologna and pimento cheese. It was fillin’ to say the least. Fried pickles were neat. Really good food and service.
Trying to remember. My buddy drove us there. Heading north on 17, turn right at the light at Ravenel. Cross the RR tracks, bear right, go a couple miles down 165 and it’s on the right.
Really good food. The burgers were a challenge to finish.
