Years ago I found an Army fork on Debordieu beach with R Cromley etched in the back. I tried to find its owner, but it was also instantly my favorite fork. Didn’t look right in the drawer with the rest, so my wife (girlfriend at the time) hated it and always threatened to make Cromley disappear. At some point it did, and she swears to this day she was just joking and had nothing to do with it.
I believe her, but I miss Cromley and I have hopes that somehow, somebody got it back to him.
Any chance it was Crumley???
