With blue crab and baby bella gravy on top

I remember thinking the rolls were so spendy that I’d just eat steamers off roadside stands and be way ahead.

We are eating and drinking our way around New England, this was while watching humpbacks and before my whole fried clam basket lunch. By then I was too hungry to remember to take a picture, but the Sam Adams and malt vinegar on the fries really capped it off.
Anybody want to take a guess on port of call? That big wooden floaty thing is a good hint.

There’s a unique and humbling reminder on a plaque at that site, talking about the natives and their view on Thanksgiving. I think there’s even a gathering on Thanksgiving every year. There are lots of things that others also choose to not forget.
Either way, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Lots of great history lessons there.
