I’m not an oyster fan, but I’d eat that. Looks amazing and delicious.

What is the proper term for your dish? Chowder? Oyster stew? Er?

Please, pardon my ignorance. I ain’t from around here. I’m from Moncks Corner.

It’s a true chowder with oysters sub’d in. Oyster stew is like… butter, milk and oysters, so I had to dress it up more than that.

And even though I am from JI, half my family is in New England so I wasn’t putting any tomato sauce in it!

We are steaming all the smallest clams for dinner, stand by
