Warranty company buying my peice of chit 235wa SeaBoss back this week.I will be buying a new to me boat in about a month.Need a cuddy from 25 to 29ft.Due to funds cant buy any newer than 2000 to 2001 not afraid of older just would like some newer power or repowered.Yes it has to be a cuddy because wife fish with me.Need a little advice on what to buy thinking of Grady,Whaler or pursuit:smiley:

Look for a '94 or older Mako 25 Cuddy that you can repower - mucho boat and you wonât pay as much as for âGrady/Whalerâ.

Saw that boat,we use our boat to fish 90% of the time 10% cruise. Only cruise on lake 4th. Want a cabin to farly comfortable fo a over niter so a little of all would be nice.Looking at a 2000 BW 28 outrage with 250 Etecs motors warrant till 2012 boat almost in budget.

Call a couple marine mechanics. I have heard good things about etecs. I like them better than mercs but again I am not a merc fan.

If you go the BW route I have heard the older 27 hull while dry as a bone pounds quite a bit and is not very fuel effiecent. They are low in price. Anyone that owns one would be better to represent it.

From what Iâve heard these are terrific boats. Looks surprisingly roomy down below for a 23â boat. Maritimeâs web site has a nice slide show. They also make a 25â Patriot.
