Finished the roof today. Facia trim tomorrow.
She’s done!
I felt good about replacing my front steps last weekend and y’all are making farms and putting up buildings.
Sweet! Looks great!
all of y’all. Nice work…
I can’t even get my yard cleaned up.
Nice looking entryway Dfreedom.
DoubleN, you’ll notice a huge difference in vegetation growth! You are really putting in some effort, it’ll pay off.
OTC, on my afternoon walk with the wife and dogs, brought up the issue of getting another bike… Wife not so receptive. Saw a really nice Yamaha Vmax … almost but just a bit too much and a few too many miles. I know you are a Harley man, but if you ever get a chance to drive one, try it. At one time a few years back they were the fastest production bike.
Hey Fred, this early warm spell has blueberries and peach trees flowering…anyway, I see next week a possible frost and need to ask if you think some cheep bed sheets draped over will help??
Thanks
NN
Can’t hurt! Yes sir, I’ve done this with some success. My blueberries are now putting on leaves. Sad to see them get burnt by frost, it is what it is. The sheet will work as long as it’s not a deep freeze. Figure we can have a frost @ 38-36 degrees… yes a sheet will help with this range. When it gets 30 and lower… not really. Have seen smudge pots used in Peach fields.
Did a roof on a carpet mill in I believe Macon Georgia. It was surrounded by peach orchards. Had a late cold snap. They put out smudge pots by the thousands.
Thanks folks! That’s been on my “to do” list for quite some time. The old steps were 22 years old. Man has lumber and paint gone up. $10 per board for “premium” (yeah right), a quart of paint ($30) and 3 boxes of screws at $10 per. Man, hard to even do a DIY project cheaply anymore.
Mighty fine job, Doug. YEP, the freaking price of everything is crazy!!
NN
Thanks Glenn! Thank goodness the economy is so good huh.
Very Nice!
That is awesome Mixed!
Tell me about the roof and siding
What is that color
You do great work
Roof, and siding, come from Best Buy Metals. I only use made in the USA metals. Just my part to keep the faith!
Color is black.
This one of the smaller barns I’ve built.
Second to the hunt camp, I posted a while back, in the Sumter National Forest.
Got a call today, from a guy in Virginia, looking for a quote.
Barn building might be a lost art?
LOL…
Thanks for the compliments guys!
Nice work!!!
Man I’d love to have a small shop like that in my back yard.
