What’s biting in the charleston area in places such as breach and folly? Heading to charleston on Labor Day for fishing and can’t find a place to go and more importantly hook into some Spanish mackerel because I never caught one before.
spanish are probably gone by now? I think? haha. But reds are picking up whiting are abundant, and everything in between
Spanish are still around. Caught quite a few cast netting for mullet in the surf at Sullivan’s. All around 6-8"

Red bite is picking up. Flounder bite has always been it’s best in September and October for me. Of course the whiting are always around. As well as stingrays/skates
Not to piggy back too bad but what’s the trout bite been like? Wouldn’t mind making a trip down later this month hunting some flatties and trout
I fish to leave the rest of the world behind. I fish because I respect the fish. I fish because it’s in my DNA.
Spanish were around the pier a week before the storm. Go out there with a gotcha plug or trolley rig with finger mullet or 3-4" menhaden.
Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
