Hey fellas, My friend and I are coming down with his 21" Backwater Bayboat. He used to guide down in the Keys, but doesn’t know this water to well. We would like to know whats hitting, and what are folks using mainly. I’m not asking for GPS or your favorite spots, but just something to get us started. Thanks, CoachB

no offense, but that was a pretty vauge question. It depends wether you want to go offshore, stay inshore, what kind of tackle do you have? if you give these things you will probably get a lot better response.
Tackle we are wide open with stuff to catch small freshwater Brim to Yellow Fin Tuna and Marlin. As I stated this boat is a bay boat so I doubt we are going too far out. At most the second can and that’s only if its flat; other then that I would think more into the creeks and what not. My friend used to guide out of this boat in FL for Tarpon, Red Fish, Snook, and other fish that I would figure we can find down there. I just don’t know what’s making a run in that area right now, and I am trying to get an idea with out offending anyone by asking their “secret” spots etc. Thanks guys… hope this makes the question a little more understandable.
