You have your work cut out for you. Friday joined forces with Walkman for a day of surf fishing. It was a beautiful “blue bird” day. Sunny skies with relatively strong WNW wind. The west winds basically flattened out the ocean, it looked relatively lifeless, and looked like a lake. We fished all day and worked some structure on the beach. We just chunked with the big rods and left the small ones at home because we already had bait. Bonito, finger mullet and Walkman tried out some herring. The bite was slow which for me usually is when fishing flat water. It was a new moon with tides reaching almost 7 ft. We enjoyed the day together, Walkman got to meet Grace and we rounded up 6 arm length sharpnose sharks and a few rays. No big ones, but still fun to reel in. At least we caught something and avoided the goose egg. Walkman was a pleasure to fish with:smiley:
Pete ; how is gracy doing???

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Thanks for asking Gail. She has torn a ligament in her leg and will be needing an operation. She can get around, but is slow. Rehab will be a few weeks and she is going to have to sit out a few trips after her operation. The tab for the operation 3500 $, ouch.
Dogs are worse than kids sometimes. I spent that on two dogs after they were bitten by a large copperhead last spring. Would have been a lot cheaper to buy new dogs except for the divorce bill I would have had.

She was a real trooper that day. No whimpering or whining at all. She kept going back and forth between Runbabyrun and I. What a dog!
