Sunday they were in Port Royal, or maybe it was Calibogue, I forget, or get lost when I turn around twice:smiley:
I can tell you they were in 15-20’ of water, caught on large live shrimp. Large shrimp are pretty thick in some of the 30’ holes now. Got to find those yourself
This is my buddy Dave, he’s about 6-5 and pushing 300 pounds, just for a relative size. Caught 17 like this
quote:I'd like to listen and learn from your buddy Dave.
He could teach me a lot
Aw, I taught him everything he knows No, not, it just sounded good. We teach each other. He is an exceptional fisherman and has an almost uncanny ability to read the water and know where the fish will be. He notices every detail and never forgets them. Dang fine man too. I’m proud to have him as a friend
I’m really blessed to have some great friends who are also excellent fishermen Dave, Raymond and Herb are as good as they get on both counts. They make me look good. Or sometimes bad
I built that boat anyway:smiley:
We don’t know much, but we usually manage to catch a few
BTW, anybody on here want some saltwater flies? I really suck at fly fishing and have a box full I’ll never use.

Swamp Worshiper
I’m interested for sure! I’m just getting into fly fishing and haven’t caught any reds yet. I’m about 100% sure it’s the angler’s fault, not the flies, but I got a feeling I can learn a lot just by seeing what you keep on hand! I’ll send you a PM.
quote:Best pic is the one that has the boat in the background names "da lil b!tch"
Raymond’s dad is a commercial crabber. His big boat is named Hard Headed B!tch, his medium boat was named HHB II, but he changed it I think to Dammit Man! So the little boat is Da Little b!tch. And his business is called Haul Ass Crab Company
