I’ll be back in town for a few days next week and I want to pick up a load of local shrimp and I’m not a shrimper… Where’s the best place to buy 10-20lbs for a boil?
We prefer Dobosn Seafood if your out of St Helena. Their shrimp always smells fresh and appears to be handled well from the net to the cooler.

Try Gay’s on Hwy 21 past Coffin Point Rd. They are right off the boat.
you can try gay seafood right befour you get to the hunting island state park on the right. the retail is up front. If you want to buy a cooler full you need to go to the back where they unload the boats and see william gay. he runs the whole sale part and his brother charles runs the retail. need to get there around three when the boats start coming in.the shrimp you get from william are caught fresh that day. any where else you just can’t be sure.
