where to park the boat

Hey Yall,
My wife and I will be in Edisto the week of 5-16 thru 5-23. I just found out I can’t park my boat and trailer at the resort. Ouch, now I have to find somewhere to park it where I can keep the charger on it at night that is safe. They recommended Edisto Power Sports but I really don’t want to keep it in the water or spend an extra 150.00 bucks.

Any input? Thanks

I don’t know who you’d need to talk to but some people used to leave their boats in the parking lot for the marina which is right across the road from the marina, maybe asked the people at marina or marina bar and grill they should be able to tell ya.

You can’t catch fish on a dry line

Ask the realtor - they should be able to provide info since you can’t park where you are staying. Maybe they have somewhere in the resort you can park.

You gotta love the South Carolina Lowcountry.

not sure where you are staying, but there are plenty of boats parked in the resort, mine will be there
there is also a boat storage place just before you get to the beach, not sure about the power source

Call the Edisto Marina and ask about the parking lot they have out front.

Being able to run down to my boat land go fishing, anytime, day or night, is worth the rental on a slip. Call Dan at Edisto Marina 843-869-3504.
You will be towed from the parking lot across the street from the marina, unless you have a sticker.
There is storage behind True Value Hardware. Not sure about power. Call True Value 843-869-4420

The true value is ok. No power there, but you can get it like $10 a day

I stay in the resort twice a year, every year and have no issues keeping my boat on site.

The guard at the entrance asked about it once a couple years ago. I told them I had the owners permission and they just shrugged and waved me through.

Are you timeshare or rental from a realtor? And where exactly are you booked to stay? There are several options. Why do you need a power source when the boat is on a trailer? If you are timeshare, you can park your boat at the Village if you are staying there. You can park it at Marsh Point if you are staying in timeshare. If you have questions, you can call the resort check in 843-869-4516. If this doesn’t solve your problem send me an email.

I have docked my boats for 20 years at the marina when I’m down for a week or two. Much easier for everything and the $ are not that bad. Think about it.
