Hi, I’m coming down with the family in a few weeks and was wondering where I can throw a cast new for bait with out trespassing. I’m not very good at it but I would like to try and get some of my own live bait.
Thanks
Are you bringing a boat?

A lot of people throw by the bridge near the old post office about 5 miles from Edisto Beach. There is a place you can pull over near the serpentarium. If you go near low tide the creek is teeming with bait. Good luck

Awesome Optiker … more people to that creek. When I was a kid I rarely saw people there. Went last year and met people from the upstate, Ohio, and virginia.
C’mon Packs, its hardly a secret. Everyone who drives over the bridge sees people there. I’m just trying to help a brother out.

Optiker sure didn’t let any secrets out about the bridge near the old post office.

Don’t even begin to throw this Greenville boy in with Ohio and Virginia people.
I live in Greenville, but own a house at Edisto…so cut a brother some slack.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
Posting on a message board all the time doesn’t make you smart. Frankly, it just means you probably need to get a life.

You must have a good bit of age on you… cause I remember people there from a long time ago… pretty well know spot.
