the standard for decorum. 15 kids throwing water bottles on the field really has them riled up. I’d be more concerned with the lack of a kicking game, even though they might not need one, sure as heck didn’t need it against the Cocks. Dabo could have set a record though and missed out on it. 4 FG’s would have been all it took to win the game.
After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.
I think we are way too tame in our sports venues. Got no problem with bottles or Dabo’s reaction. Wish we had a bit more pageantry like the Futbol folks over seas. I think flares in Willie B would look pretty cool with Sandman playing.
In all honesty, I feel better about a 4th and 4 than a 29 yd FG attempt.
15 yr old students makes more sense that 15 being the number of students trash bombing their own field, but hey, it’s your bed if you want to crap in it.
I think some fail to understand the situation here. We are talking about 19-20 yo kids that have watched Clemson stomp on them for the past 4 years. And before that, they grew up in their formidable years watching the Gamecocks reign supreme. They got sold a bag of **** at 10-15 years old and was told it was chocolate bars, and now they are pissed off that they have had to eat **** for 4 years.
They aren’t old enough to know that this is just the way things are. Give’m a few more years and they will settle down and accept things like wise old 23 and Frosty.
Tigernet reporters disputing the claims of “a dozen or so” students throwing things. They’re also remarking on the fact that when the Tigers were doing the victory walk to the student section that nearly EVERYONE joined in in the double middle finger salute and the screaming of the obscenities.
Regardless of what school it was, that’s just sad and classless.

Cool video. Glad they see that as a taunt. Pretty much every event in football is a taunt. The entrance, the band music, the announcer calling out make some noise.
I’m a bit surprised they got so many to join in on the salute though. Makes the victory that much more special knowing the fans were so vested in this one. Last couple of years ya’ll let us down.
There’s an endless supply of examples of classlessness coming out of USC’s student body. Someone has to get that turned around for the state, not just for the Gamecocks.

And as soon as that person figures out how to do that, they need to go to EVERY OTHER SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY, including Clemson, and implement the same plan because “those students” exist at every other school in the country.
As long as the gamecock faithful are proud of the product on the field as well as be proud of the culture and climate that exists in and around the stadium, then that’s all that matters, right? It is evident to the entire country what the differences are in the two programs. These recruits and families have free will to make their own decisions. All we can do is evaluate the product.
