I had 2 rods with shrimp, one with quarter blue crab and one with live finger mullet and nothing, but I was fishing 28 1/2 on sullyâs too.

I was fishing in between 2 sandbars, not sure how to explain it but 2 sandbars side by side with a gap in between with calm water.

No but I do know that at low tide it was maybe 5-6 foot at its deepest to the sandbar

Iâd say thatâs a surf slam alright! Nice work!
On an unrelated note, we caught a pompano while fishing for whiting and blues for bait this last weekend. He was a little guy, maybe 10 inches, but we were shocked to see theyâre still around unless he was lost or sick.
