That’s bull ****! Cam gets far less calls than other qb’s. Low hits in the pocket are called 100% on the time, unless you’re Cam. It was dirty play. Players know they can get away with more when it’s Cam and they take advantage. It’s bull ****!

There’s no denying that there’s a bias. If you are not a Panthers fan and try and discount it because he runs, you need to watch more Panthers football…period.
How’s this for a stat: Last year, the Panthers had ZERO roughing the passer penalties called for hits on Cam…that stat came out and was announced during the game this year when he got hit all those times and no calls.

The one call he did get was when a d lineman drove Cam to the ground, head first, 3 steps after he had released the ball. The side judge, who was literally less than 10 ft away, staring straight at the play, didn’t call it. The official, who had thrown a flag for holding on the other side of the field had to run over and throw his hat. The side judge stared the play down and refused to call a penalty!!!

And THOSE instances are the reason we have been *****ing about it. It’s VERY clear that for some reason he doesn’t get them. Yes, we get it, he runs a lot…but we’re not discussing those instances. We’re talking about the blatant ones in the pocket or after a throw is made. It’s sickening to watch.
YES, Cam is a clown. I’ve been a Panthers fan since the inception, and I can’t stand him. But he’s our guy, and he deserves the same protections that other “elite” QB’s receive. If he doesn’t get it, we want to know WHY.

You can’t hit a qb low in the pocket in the passing position. The hit on Cam was blatant. This reminds me of the “crown of the helmet” thread it’s not that complicated. Refs missed the call. They have a habit of missing blatant ones on Cam.

He didn’t help his case in the postgame press conf, especially in that outfit. When you go tattling/crying to the teacher, the next time you’re in the school yard expect to get the crap beat out of you. I bet that lapel flower squirts water.
What he wears at the press conference should have no bearing on what happens on the field. His last roughing the passer call was in sept. 2014. He has had 3 called since 2013, when the league average is almost 4 per year. 3 were missed in the Denver game alone this year and he was left with a concussion as a result. He is not whining, he’s fed up.

I like how he threw an IT at practice to Norman, then tried to tackle him and got stiff armed. Whiny Scam then pursues and starts a fight because he got floored on the return. He can’t take anything like a man. Mind of a child.
