Worth Trying?

Total dumb donkey question here. Just getting into to saltwater fishing. My son heard we were going to Edisto to work on our lot this weekend. He is about to blow a gasket to try fishing from our dock. Is it worth trying? Did not know if anything would be in that shallow water or not due to cold.

We are on a smaller creek off of Fishing Creek that runs between Marsh Aire and Beckett Plantation.

Thanks

Don’t know till you try! There’s a lot of fish in that area year round. Try soaking some cut mullet on a Carolina rig

Thanks for the advice Optiker. Can’t say we did not try but came home empty. Not sure our son had more fun fishing or threatening to put mullet guts on his mom and watching her reaction.

either way, sounds like the littel guy had a good day, after all THAT is what it is all about, or should be

Salkie - I’m building in Beckett right now. Where is your lot?

Hey MM. We are across the creek from Beckett in/on Marsh Air. My dad bought a lot in Beckett this summer near the cemetery. Hopefully we are near the end plan revisions and can start this summer.
