quote:Impossible Foods is the first food company to add heme to its vegan products in an effort to replicate the taste, color and aroma of animal meat. Heme is what makes animal blood red, and it's found in all living things, including plants. When Impossible Burgers cook in a pan, they secrete a pinkish juice that resembles blood, and they also give off the smell of charred meat.
Kind of freaks me out to be honest, but so do intensive feed lot factory cattle and pigs…
No thank you, I wouldn’t touch it. I have more than enough venison than I can possibly eat, and the other side of the family has a rather large herd of Belted Galloway.

Dad picked up a couple from the orangeburg market a few years ago. He resold them, heard they were good meat cows. How do they compare to an angus? Father in law had one. It,s offspring had the band for at least three generations bred back to an angus bull.
