Also, note that this was June of last year on east coast of Florida, so fairly close to home… It’s only a matter of time before one of the locals has a video like this…

2 sharks I don’t like, Tigers and Great Whites.
Never had an encounter with either while diving and hope I never do.
That shark looks pretty fired up. I would swim straight to my decompression stop and feel like bait the whole time I waited. I’m pretty sure that diver never even saw that cobia…
I honestly think I would have put a spear through the sharks gills around the 2 minute mark when it came by broadside.
I know nothing about spearfishing or what I would really do but after a couple of passes by the shark I’d guess I’d feel pretty threatened. That is just my gut reaction, right or wrong.

I think that the scariest part of this video is that this Great White was SOUTH of us in JUNE of last year… They aren’t supposed to be here until winter!!!
That being said, I would have attempted to shoot the cobia and then film myself feeding it to the shark by hand. And then maybe hitched a ride on it’s dorsal back to the surface.
