Long read but interesting in today’s times.
I say yea. Good for the coach and staff to realize this, also surprisingly good on the parents for not “blaming” the coaches. Afterall it was the students who screwed up. I’d stick up for the coaching staff had this been my kids.

Thats what I’m talking about. Coaches by nature want to teach, and teaching character helps improve everything about a person.
Good for them. I give them a big YEA.

Me too b8, and like Chris said, I’m impressed by the parents. They stepped up and said either my kids were at fault for disregarding rules, or we were at fault as parents. Almost unheard of.
Whem I played ball you would not think of doing anything in or out of school to get in trouble. My coach would make you pay no matter how good you were, sprints, bull in the ring, running bleachers or kicking you off the team. Kids theese days think the world is what they see, not what they can try to make it. Its great the school, coaches and parents can agree on the same thing and not get lawyers involved. YEA!!!

I’m impressed with the balls of the coaches. And just as impressed with the parents seeing the merit in it.
Most parents would have Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, the ACLU whoever.
Blackhawk, I agree our coaches would punish us, but more important is that my parents would punish me worse.

In this day and age, it is almost unheard of to see people take responsibility for their actions. Good for all concerned.
