Yellowfin Tuna spearing report. Slayed em!.

Just got back from a EPIC trip to Central America. Literally just lived my dream. I shot and Landed 3 tuna in 4 days of spearing and had a absolute blast. Most days we were Chasing birds/dolphin then bailing off the boat in front and freediving down to intercept the tuna.

Got the biggest Tuna on the last dive of the last day. We raced ahead of the dolphins and birds while i tried to calm my heart rate and breathing to hold my breath longer. Bailed off the boat freediving down to about 40 feet just as a wall of tuna appeared. Passed on several 100 pounders and there came the big cow. Calmly closed the distance and made a good shot. That fish was strong as hell and towed 3 of us a long long way. When it finally slowed the work really started. Had to fight for every inch of line by hand till i got it within 40 feet of the surface so i could put another shot in it. I was worried it would break free and i would lose the fish the whole time. On the previous dive i had a crimp pull and lost a good fish. The video is unreal and i cant wait to get it done and uploaded.

This was my biggest tuna of the trip. The fish was more than i ever dreamed i could have taken.

Nice. Panama?

Those tuna love the green water over there. Nat Geo material!

Moral judgment under girds the entire structure of laws and is necessary for the rational structure of any significant statute. The idea that our laws can stand independent of moral foundation is senseless.----- Albert Mohler.

Gnarly Dude! What do you think that thing weighed?

Way to go Rob! That had to be wild having those huge tuna all around you.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

That yf got to be 175. I couldn’t imagine wrestling one on a pole top side, never mind going all out Bear Grylls style. Nice job!
