150 miles away. One more…again.
Dang, you’re doing good hunting down those singles…looks like they can’t escape you no natter where they try to hide…
what city was that near? whiting have been pretty spotty where im fishing too, but if you went a bit south id encourage you to put some big baits out if possible. got this one yesterday on a pompano carcass that measured 8 feet 8 inches!
North Myrtle Sat. Fished with Mr. Webster this morning in Myrtle, both got blanked. It was good to see Web. Might walk down to the beach in a minute a try for my “one” for today.
You would think with all this warm weather that we would have more fish coming in. It was April of last year before I saw any decent numbers of fish. How’s Mr. Web doing, he still slinging for the fences:smiley:

ha sorry i forgot to take a pic of the 8 foot 8 inch pompano carcass! it was from some crazy seafood market that sold me the whole fish for only a few dollars so i cant claim credit on catching the 8+ foot pompano. i tried again monday and whiting hardly bit at all, but aside from more toothy critters we did get another bull red on cut whiting. not sure what it is in charleston but still only 66 degrees. of all things i also saw a POGY POD popping the surface 200 yards out as i was dropping bait.
