Ok, I didn’t catch that… Hope you make enough this year in fishing to drop the other job! Or the other way around! And then enough to enjoy a nice week of snow skiing.
I have to take my hat off to anyone that is actually making a good living at fishing. The say if you enjoy your job you never have to work a day in your life.
Spot on about the skiing. Heading to Mont Tremblant this winter.
If anyone is wondering, after a 4 hour post surgery nap this afternoon, I was looking at something else and this thread came up. There is a Football game that just started and it appears Oregon came to play.
Oh and this was a good thread. Sucks 23 came along and killed it.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
Spent many a night on that dock in high school . Great spot. Bunch of crying on here. Don’t set up on someone if they are fishing a dock or small area . Plenty of good spots out there . Just put your time in. We use to turn the dock lights on and the other side was on fire.
Well I’ve had a lot worst happen and had to leave, side note thanks for the new spot, “I’m always looking for the pathfinder”. The trick is you trim your motor up and roost them real good on the way out as well as returning the favor of ruining the fishing.
I have seen guides heading to my spots and just slow down and let them have first crack. They are working I am not.I fish better alone and could always relax and enjoy a trip. Now I am 80 and have some balance problems so Wife will not let me go alone.I can but if She finds out i catch hell.LOL I do not care who gets on top of me at a spot as long as they are quiet about it.If the boat is loaded with Bikini babes hell yes tie up on my cleat. So my advice is relax and just have a good day.I would hate to see guys fight it out over a fishing spot.
I was fishing one of my favorite holes next to a dock when a couple anchored on the far side. I hooked a large over slot red which took drag past the doc and tangled in the other fellas line. (**() if he didn’t reel it in and then take a freaking picture of it. Good thing I didn’t have the paint ball gun on the boat that day.

Haha when I was a kid I caught a big AJ on the Thunderstar that had been hook by an adult on the other side of the boat. The dumbo didn’t even notice the bite or his line being slack for several minutes. I’m glad he didn’t too. B-)
