Dats a perty bote

Here is the mean machine leaving the dealership today.

Well, it has just about everything. Here is a list:
(1) 101Lbs thrust Minnkota TMw/removeable bracket.
(2) Trim Tabs.
(3) Raw Water wash down.
(4) 4 bank on-board battery charger.
(5) Hydraulic Jack Plate.
(6) Lowrance HDS-5 Chartplotter and sonar.
(7) Morestorage than I will ever need.
(8) Long list of standard features.

And of course the Yamaha 250 hp Super High Output.

How is the Yamaha SHO working out for you? I posted pics of mine below yours. Dad picked it up from the dealership today, but since I’m stationed in Okinawa, Japan, I won’t get to put my hands on it until next year. I did a lot of research on sevral different motors before deciding, Yamaha came out on top with the least amount of problems.

Flats boat, custom build. Maple construction, a couple burn marks from cook pots on the underbelly. If I have more than two people in the boat, I put the leaf in the middle.

the jon boat stencils are from redlegcamo.com & are their fowl grass 3 pattern

i was going to skin the sides of the inside of the jon boat with plywood mostly for looks, but also for ease of cleaning since leaves tend to get stuck in the conduit & behind the ribs, but i couldn’t get it to look good so i ended up tossing that idea

i just put my cooler in the floor of the jon boat if i need a big cooler, otherwise, I use my smaller 6 pack size cooler that fits under the deck. i never got around to finishing the paint job because it’s been so hot & so rainy. i’ll put up some more pictures once i finish the camo paint job. the pictures above are just my practice learning how to use the stencils

it sure is, my buddy's uncle has a house on this road with its own private ramp.

to the left about 500 yards is a public boat landing that’s always packed during duck season.

I love my High Tide. They don’t make them like this anymore.

love the high tide, i’ve always wanted one of those. they’re still making them under the name Mi Tide & out of composite instead of fiberglass now. there’s a guy with the old high tide molds also making them out of fiberglass under the name Sea Island Skiff, they mostly make big boats, but they do make the little guys too
