I love these helmets. I loved the ones we had against Florida. Kids like the flashy uniforms. SC hasn’t changed their look in a long long time. I’m glad to see some changes.

I wondered how they came up with a tiger as a mascot in South Carolina. When my son was 5 years old his soccer coach asked the kids what they wanted their team name to be. The boys all said tigers and the girls said giraffes so they became the giraffe-tigers. Guess it is a good thing Riggs did not ask kids that they thought the mascot should be.

Those helmets look like crap but if it makes the kids play better then go for it. They tried to bring some concept helmets and uni’s to Clemson last year, they were rejected outright. You gotta stay true to who you are.
