Broad River, PRS 3-11

Cracker Larry that boat is a work of art. I hope to see it in person this year on the river.

Thank you very much, whichever boat you are referring too. The latest one I’ve put more time and effort into than I ever have before. Nothing was spared. There is only one thing wrong with that boat, it isn’t mine. It was bought and paid for from the time I started building it, and it will soon be leaving town, right after I put some fish blood on it and make sure it can catch a fish. Then it’s out of here and time to start another one

If you see this one in Port Royal, it’s me. I built it too.

Larry are you communicating threats again?

Us Internet bullies are always looking for trouble

Guests who know how to run a sander and mix epoxy are really asking for trouble coming here.

Edit: a trim carpenter would be more than welcome now too:smiley:

not much of a painter but have certainly kept some elbow grease around- however I’m much better at mowing yards, trimming shrubs and working on trees…I do know I’ve got a LOT to learn about boats and fish!

I’ve always wanted to hit the brownies but unfortunately when they’re running down there I’m busier than all get out up here!!..there’s always retirement time though-which sometimes seems like it can’t get here soon enough!!!

I also know there have been a lot of people on here that have been more than ready to help us out over the last 15+ years when we’ve come down to visit our “second” family. I’ve met a few face to face and “know” the rest of “usual” suspects that I’ve come to respect for the lessons you’ve taught and the assistance given!!! Thanks again guys!!!

Madfire! you don’t think I need to bring my own leg-legs cast do you??
I’ve been known to mix a mean batch of epoxy in my time and my carpenter trim "pocket knife " is always ddullll!!!:wink: Also I carry a handy top popper if the conditions presents itself.

There are usually a few Coronas in the fridge around here

I keep plenty of epoxy and fiberglass around if we should find leg casts necessary, no need to bring those.

Very interesting day. Since I made my phone number public yesterday, I’ve had 3 calls from people with good sense and who read this forum, but don’t post here. The last was from a 70 year old man who has been catching cobia even longer than I have in Port Royal. I’ve seen him and his boat a few times, met him on the river, seen him land 2 big fish right next to me, fishing alone, while I’m still waiting on a bite. Smart man, welcomed phone call  All were welcomed. Funny, I aint heard from the warbler yet though.

There are those who know, those who don’t, and those who don’t have a clue

I prefer to walk very lightly, and you really don’t want to see me come in heavy. Neither do I :sunglasses:

Got some cold Coronas here if you want to come see me.
