Carolina can do better than Cam Newton.

This is why I still don’t get behind him, or the Panthers yet. What a freaking baby. Is this what we are supposedly afraid of? A completely entitled brat?

His tantrum on the ground in the end zone looked like an idiot. Not going after the fumble looked like a quitter, and his interview post game made him look like a joke.

Never a Cam fan, never will be. Congrats on Peyton for going out in style. Talk about polar opposites in QBs. Cam will go downhill from here.

I had plenty of neighbors and co-workers tell me that I needed to be a Carolina fan this past week (I’m a long-suffering Dolphin fan) because they are “Carolina’s Team”. I haven’t bought in to that but mainly I don’t like Newton and my feelings were validated by his behavior. He’s all cocky and arrogant when he wins but we see the real side of him in a loss. His post game interview was the height of immaturity and not at all surprising. No class at all.

He lost a lot of respect last night from a lot of die-hard fans that have tried and tried to get behind him…not going for that fumble was the last straw IMHO.

BUT…that defense shut down a HOF’er!

That was a different team on the field last night than has been all year. They looked flat out unprepared.

Only reason I bring this up is because D. Watson is supposedly mentored by Cam, or he looks up to him. I hope he changes that ideal now. Cam should be looking up to DW. If you want to see men handle a devastating loss, look at the post game interview with Watson and Mac Lain vs. these Panther “boys”.

He is an ass, but I did win the halftime score pool, so everything is good…oh, no money, only bragging rights…

Stark contrast between Newton and Manning! I would think age has something to do with it, but so does Class vs No Class!

They got manhandled by the Broncos defense. I don’t think he was expecting it. Sometimes, winners HATE losing… Sometimes, that is what makes them winners to begin with.

I can see some good in it. Personally, I don’t watch NFL enough to really care about any team, don’t follow any team and could care less who wins. The positive I see in Carolina winning is all the loudmouth Carolina fans who were running their mouth all last week are real quiet at work today, so it’s kind of peaceful!! I watched a little bit of the game last night, if you want to call it a game. The commercials were a let down again this year and I think Mr. Newton really showed the world what a sore loser he is. I sure hope all those people who spent on average of 5k for a ticket feel they got their monies worth.

Now this is funny!

Looked like #1 had money on the game…on Denver. When he didn’t go for that fumble, I looked at the wife and said there will be lots people questioning who he wanted to win the game.

And I only watch 1 NFL game a year. so I don’t have a dog in the fight. I did not care who won, just wanted to see the commercials and see a good game. I was disappointed in both.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

Exactly

“Living’s mostly wasting time and I’ll waste my share of mine”

I didn’t start really paying attention to Carolina until right before Thanksgiving. I think the Atlanta loss was the only game I watched through. Carolina was a momentum team, if they got it early the other team was getting steamrolled. They didn’t face much in the way of adversity, that showed up last night and in Atlanta. Lost both of them.

Still a helluva season but short of the big prize. Newton is one heck of a QB, hard to argue against his athletic talent. He’s also young and needs to grow up a bit. To say Carolina can do better at QB, maybe off-field and at a press conference, but not on the field. If you think differently you don’t remember Delhomme or Wienke or any of the other crappy QB’s they’ve had.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Oh please. After all the hype, overwhelming majority of the country expecting them to win, and then he fails like that? I wouldn’t want microphones in my face immediately after either.

So he is the first person to ever experience failure or loss? It’s called being an adult, man up, suck it up and be the professional you are being paid to be.

26 year old football playboy millionaire is supposed to act like an adult? Since when??? The NFL is nothing but a big fraternity of millionaire Peter Pan's living in neverland...

I think you guys have too high of expectations.

You guys do realize that they play a game for a living, right?
