Dear Jimmy…I’m a football fan who went to The Citadel. I pull for state teams, unless they are playing my Bulldogs. I am an objective observer of the game, and I have developed an awareness of the tangibles and intangibles that usually determine the outcomes. It was obvious to me that USC was too far behind, and unable to match Texas A&M’s tempo. Game over turn the channel at the end of the half. It was obvious to me that Clemson was gassed, and that Gurly would continue to gash them for the rest of the game. The field position dominance by Ga. was masterful. Turn the channel, and see what Fla. State looks like. 1 quarter of that and it was time for bed. I read the final details in the Sunday paper(old habits die hard)and the story lines and stats told me I made the right decision to get a solid 9 hours. Old geezers like me need their rest, and a daily fiber supplement.
