I was there Tuesday to move the boat to D dock and the store was closed, Anyone know when it will be open again? The new docks look great by the way if no one has seen them yet

I’ve been watching the progress at the marina the last 3 weeks myself. Why did they have to replace the concrete pilings? Also if you owned a slip, what was the assesment? They look good though.

I was there Tuesday and watched them pulling the old pileings and they looked to be in good shape so I cant figure why they would replace them. Seems like alot of money spent for nothing in my opinion.I just rent a slip so I dont know about the new asessments.

Be advised there is no water on D dock yet at least not as of Sunday.
I wonder if they will be putting rubber protection on edges of dock like it was before.
There is also a clete missing at the back of each slip. I hope this was an oversite and it will be added later. You can’t properly spring the boat as it is now.
I don’t know if anyone has noticed but there are 6 additional slips on each dock. I wonder who gets the proceeds? Sounds like at least 3 million at current rates.

All of the current slips are privately owned aren’t they. Is there a slip owners association? I wonder if they will be sold to pay for the dock cost.

The water was still not on as of Tuesday and the electric box was not bolted down at the end of D dock either. I would immagine they will be plumbing everything soon and bolting down at that time.
The slips are privately owned and I just asked around till I found one to rent.

Wow! 24 new slips at $150,000 per = $3,600,000. My high estimate is $100,000 cost per dock X 4 = $400,000. Net profit of $3,200,000. Pretty sweet investment for the new owner even if he paid for the present owners refurbishing costs. Ouch, if I was the old owner.

yes the docks are longer and protrude further into big bay.
Check with Steve at the marina for slips to rent or look on the board outside of ships store.
