Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

This is a good point. CU is very one dimensional right now and really needs a balanced running attack. The state of running backs at CU is as harmful as the QB situation at SC.

You and everyone else knows I have said that many times. Even before the first game. I have said it in this post.
I do think the offense is good(but until Missou plays UGA, I’m not sure). The defense, not so much. But I do see the reality that they have played some very good offenses.

Howard is not a good back but he has the most experience of the backs since Brooks got hurt, he runs too straight up and ahead of his pads. Davidson is OK but he’s not a contact guy, hell he walked on from the track team.
Adama Choice is a bruiser but a true freshman lacking pass coverage skills and missing pieces of the playbook, had a deep thigh bruise against UNC. Gallman is coming along but is playing too fast and not letting the play set up by his blockers. If they get those two up to speed the running game will get better. Tyshon Dye is still nursing some nagging injuries but they got him in pads and practicing now.
Teams have stacked the box with the uncertainty of the passing game and QB situation. They won’t be doing that so much now, they’ve seen what Watson can do with his arm and the young receivers are catching everything lately.
