If it got that bad that all of those positions stopped going to the bowls, then they should probably be scrapped. It is heading in that direction anyway. We’ll be on a bigger playoff bracket and limited bowls in the next 4-5 years.

Imagine, your team makes the playoffs. You buy tickets, get a hotel and plane tickets. 100s or prob 1000s of dollars…only to find out your best (and favorite) player has decided to sit so he doesn’t get hurt.
Next man up. He owes me nothing. That’s a risk you and the owners of the bowls take. It’s a risk in any sport. On the pro level they can get fined or suspended, but that’s life. Just like I run the risk of watching a 56-7 blowout after spending a ton of money. Or the risk of watching my favorite RB get taken out of the game the first 5 minutes. **** happens.

I have said many times, I do not think the bowl game makes a difference. It is a game. whether it is the 2nd game of the year, 6th game, toilet bowl or NC game. Team sport. simple as that

You might want to try and get on Boom’s staff then. They could use some of your leadership since they won’t shut-up about the Clemson loss from 4 weeks ago and focus on the big game coming up. I mean it is just another game in the season. Nothing meaningless. The same as the first game. I never heard them belly aching about the loss to Florida just before our game.
