FSU, Clemson, and maybe Miami would beat every team in the SEC this year at a neutral site. Only say at neutral site because Bama is tough at home, but I think FSU and Clemson would handle them.

We will see. Hopefully the bowls work out that the best of both conferences get to play. Personally I’m not sold on Miami yet.

I’d rather play Bama than Oregon at this point. I don’t think Miami is all that. Saturday will tell how good FSU and Clemson are but no one in the SEC is invincible this year, Bama included.

I think it comes down to line play at the end of the day. Not sure Oregon has the O-line or D-line to match with Bama or LSU for that matter. Long way to go this season and lots of injuries for teams to overcome before we get to the end.

Is the flashy offense the only reason people think Oregon is the best team in the country? What are they showing this year that they haven’t showed us in years past? I would rather takes my chances stopping Oregon’s offense than getting manhandled and given the illusion that we are hanging with Bama for a half, only to have them beat the crap out of ya in the second half.
BTW, Clemson, FSU and Miami would not beat every team in the SEC at a neutral site. That is a ACC homer statement. I think Clemson can beat any of them and I don’t know about FSU yet as they haven’t played anyone yet to gage them. Miami would lose to at least 4 or 5 of them.
Bama, while not as good as last year is still the best all around team out there. They are not very flashy and it may be the first time that their offense is better than their defense, but they still have it ALL and will wear you down till you cry uncle!
