South Carolina’s defense was honoring former teammate Jadeveon Clowney by taking this one off.:smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:

So you are saying that the defense lost their morale because Connor Shaw left? Was there anyone on the DEFENSE that might have been pretty good last year? Hmmmmm.... Someone that might have gone as a #1 overall draft pick to the NFL for the first time in school history... No? Nothing?

Holy crap people, maybe they come around later in the season but your team sucks. You offense was mediocre at best against a A&M defense still struggling. Thompson was throwing the ball up for grabs half the night, freaking rainbows on anything past 20yds. Didn’t see Davis’s injury but Wilds and Carson couldn’t get going against a line with holes in it. Your defense is awful, just plain awful. That secondary is so bad the SC School for the Deaf and Blind could torch it.

Yeah, don’t panic, mediocrity and a 6-6 at best record is on the horizon. Great 90’ Fathead of Steve though, maybe y’all should get Whammy one too.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

LOL, I used to think you knew a thing or two about college football.

Just for the record, you are the obnoxious Clemson fan that people dislike.

Good luck in Athens on Saturday.

I know enough about CFB to recognize a poorly prepared and totally out matched team when I see it. If that is the Sakkerliner team you’ll send out all year long, 6-6 is the best you’ll do.

Clemson could very well get the crap beat out of them Saturday but then

While I will agree with you that they lost a lot on defense, they don't call guys like Clowney an "impact player" for nothing. When you have a guy on your defense that causes the other team to actually design their offense around this guy, then you have a huge impact on the outcome of a game. When SC knows that opponents are going to double\triple team him, it leaves other defensive players in a position to put more pressure on the other end. SC never really got any pressure on the QB last night which put all of the pressure on the SC secondary.

I’m not belittling his impact, just that there were many other big names that ALSO left.
When a team losses that much talent they need to reload/rebuild.

As stated earlier, we shall see how these “OTHERS” do at the next level.

No. what I was saying is usc is horrible on every aspect of the game.
I don’t care why they suck.

When the first half highlight reel was only 3 plays I knew it wasn’t good.

Charleston City Papers Best Guide of 2014

Well they certainly dont belong in the top 25 if they play like that. Whether they improve from here on out is an open question. What isnt in question is they are starting off the year on the wrong track. I think they get better but end up with 3 or 4 or 5 losses. SEC, SEC East Title, are off the table.

So we have learned T_M_D is a moron that knows nothing about football, but completely hates USC.

<hr heigh

they were supposed to be good…according to the talking heads. And the odds makers.
Again, how did Thompson play horrible?

oh and no ones thought ECU was a cake walk. They were 10-3 last year. Including a few ACC wins.

Why is it laughable? You’re just carrying on about how the gamecocks sucked it up last night for your own pleasure (releasing pent up aggression). Anyone who watched the game last night already knows that.

Maybe we should go back and dig up those quotes about how good they were going to be. How they would route A&M because they didn’t have an offense or a defense. Yeah, I’m gloating because I told every one of you that A&M was going to be better than you gave them credit for. They’ve recruited highly and Sumlin is a (**() fine coach, their Joes are a lot better than your Jimmies.

My “aggression” as you call it is a mockery of the arrogance I see with half you chickenlickers these days. And I’m going to savor every moment of it. If you can’t take the trash talk, you’re in for a long frustrating season.

And Fish, if you care to go back and look, there were receivers open all night, Thompson couldn’t get the ball to them. Tammy loaded the box and dared Thompson to beat them, he couldn’t make the throws. A good secondary would have had 5 or 6 picks the way he was throwing some of those deep routes. Plus there were busted coverages everywhere.

He threw for 366 yards and 4 TD. And several drops.
You are trying to say that if the defense gives a pass that you float in AND COMPLETE. You should not do that. WTH.
USC left most of the WR open, should Hill throw it to the covered one?
Come on man, you are better than that.
