Yep, they better get that taken care of. The gamecocks never gave up, kept fighting, and made me waaaay too nervous all the way until the end. I think they need to hang on to S. Elliott. I really think he’ll turn intoa pretty good HC.

Clemson barely squeaked by the worst team in the SEC who also got outplayed by the Citadel a week earlier. Playoffs will be interesting to watch.

Strange things happen during “Rivalry Week.” One may want to look at the Iron Bowl for confirmation. I will say, though, that if Carolina would have played with the same focus and motivation throughout the entire season, then this wouldn’t have been their final game of the year.
It wasn’t pretty but we’ve had a lot of games where we played poorly in one or more phases of the game yet still won.
Can Clemson be beat? Heck yea, but so can everyone else. Everyone but Clemson and Iowa have a loss so lets not act like we should give up now.
As I’m typing this Auburn is playing Bama tough and could be up if not a dropped pick6.

Trust me,tigerville is nervous… The pucker factor was an easy 10 yesterday and diehard fans were holding their breath statewide.
Had a few around me so mad I had to reassure them the tigers would pull through but they were convinced the Cocks WERE going to pull the upset… What made me laugh was how fast they went from doom n gloom to “we are number 1”… It was worth watching…

Somewhere along early-mid season, that Phin made some predictions,Fla.St,NC State,and So Carolina could easily trip up the Tigers,he wasn’t far off. Most every Clemson fan I spoke with was very worried about what the final score could be.
Carolina fans need not get upset,that should have happened the last few seasons, as Spurrier was slowly but surely quitting on the program.

I’m a realist brother. Clemson plays like that next week, NC wins by two TDs.
Congrats on Dabo’s first win in Williams Brice.
Strange things happen in rivalry week. I’m glad USC played hard when pride was on the line. It’s the best effort I’ve seen those young men put forth this season.
What I did see yesterday
- Gamecocks are really good at stripping the ball. Turnovers kept you guys in the game.
- Stripping the ball looks like a skill set with other teams in the SEC. They go in hard with head and hands going for the ball
- Watson keeps his head under pressure and he has good feet
- Tigers didn’t challenge deep like they have all season
Bottom line, Tigers know how to win.

Your team played above their means and we played beneath ours by a fair margin and still had control until the final whistle.
