No one. The ESPN analysts were lining up last night to get their “best in the country” quote in. I applaude Watson for saying it earlier and letting them all know that their vote and opinion didn’t change how he sees himself.

Jackson is a good kid, he just got put in a bad situation and was used by the media for a story. The kid can play, but not on Watsons level. Everyone just didn’t want to accept Clemson into the big boys club. 1 more game and let the quietness come over everyone like a warm blanket at night.

Heck, Dalvin Cook looked like a better Heisman to me.

I don’t care how many interceptions he’s thrown, Watson is hands down by far the best quarterback, scratch that , college football player this season and over the past 2 years ! The Heisman voters got this one wrong - as they did last year as well. And in case you’re wondering, I’m not a Clemson fan so no homer bias here

I think you have to go back about 7 years to find a better college QB.

So happy for Watson. The look on his face with SVP last night was priceless. Never seen his as joyous. Like a weight had been lifted and just looked so happy, proud, and humble. Beautiful.

Does this delegitimize the Heisman Trophy? I mean I don’t think even Lamar Jackson’s Mom could argue Watson didn’t deserve it.
